Chef Mat is delightful - he arrived right on time and made himself at home in our vacation rental right away. He was engaging and shared a lot about the area for us. He prepped and cooked while we enjoyed each other! He set the table, served each course and explained what we were having. It was beyond wonderful. Every course was a delicious mixture of tastes and textures - we enjoyed everything! We highly recommend Mat! Having a chef come to our beautiful vacation rental was just perfect for us!

Matthew was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating from the beginning. We ordered the Ocean Menu and it was fabulous Everything was cooked to perfection. Multiple guests commented that the cream brulee was the best they've ever had. Matthew provided great service and the offer included setting up and cleaning. Highly recommend treating yourself to a in home chef experience This treat was a real highlight to our stay in Madiera and everything I had hoped for.
Chef Matthew was absolutely incredible. He was great to communicate with, he was friendly and the food was absolutely amazing! He met our gluten free needs and made one of the best meals we've ever had. He started the night by emptying our dishwasher and ended the night by completely cleaning the kitchen. When we come back to Madeira we will be contacting Chef Matthew to cook for us.
Chef Matt was absolutely amazing. The dishes were incredible, everything tasted perfect and wasn't obvious and the presentation was on point. Matt is great to be around, we had great conversation about living in Madeira, and when we asked he was also keen to share tips on how to improve our own cooking skills which is awesome. In general it was a cherry on top of our perfect trip to Madeira, we highly recommend!

Matthew was punctual, flexible with our kid that didn’t want to go to sleep this night, presented dishes grounded in local culture, like we asked for, and the food was amazing. He insisted on cleaning up, and left the kitchen cleaner than it was before.
Chef Matthew did a wonderful job cooking for us on vacation. Every dish was delicious, well presented, and perfect portions. Matthew left the kitchen even cleaner than when he arrived and was so kind and communicative the whole time. This was one of the highlights of our time in Madeira. Highly recommend!
